  • Steel braided brake line set for '82 1000

    Hello all,

It only took me 33 yrs but I just picked up my first '82 1000 Katana.
I would like to replace the original brake lines with fresh ones. Instead of spending $200+ for nos lines I was hoping someone here knew where I can buy stainless steel lines. I found a couple of sets in the UK but they advertised them for 82 1100 Katanas. I asked them if they would fit a US model 82 1000 and they said no.

    1. Anyone here know of a place in the US that sells SSB lines
    2. Are the lines the same between an 82 1000 and an 82 1100?

    TIA

Do a search on here for G&J Aircraft lines. Def worth the investment

Found it. I'll definitely look them up as they are only 50 miles away.

      Thanks!

I know they have some katana brake lines already there as templates
        Thanks to Tmod
Call them up and see if they have yours if not bring your old ones and they can duplicate them

I picked up some off ebay from a Japanese model produced in 2000 as a replica of 82 gs1000 katana. The ones I see most often are pretty pricey. Are you looking for the anti dive hoses only or the whole set? Welcome to the site. I have a few spare parts but not extra brake lines.

Here is a set of reasonable OEM stuff for 750. Check bikebandit.com to see if part numbers match

I'm planning on heading over to G&S this week and have them make me up a complete set.
