A Big Thank You !!!!
to HS2020 for the write-up on how to adjust the clutch on my 2005 750 Kat.
Yesterday I took her out for a long ride and noticed it was sometimes hard to get it to upshift from 3-4, 4-5, etc. Looking at her when I got home, I noticed that the PO had adjusted the handlebar adjuster almost all the way out.
I searched the forum for clutch info and found his post very easily. I read it and thought "this is too easy", but what the heck, I'll do it.
Awesome instructions - I read them several times before I went to work on her and it was readily apparent how the procedure was designed to work. It took me all of 45 minutes to take everything off and get it adjusted and put back together.
Took her for a nice ride this morning and she shifts perfectly, every time. I could not be more pleased with how it feels...
