I had a GS500f which was stolen, got an old BMW K100 as a project and sold it on for profit. A post 750 came up for £650 with minimal work needed (brake piston seals, battery). Never looked back! With a set of Pilot Road 3s it's the most effortless ride in all weather, plenty of power where I need it and stops when it has to. It's dead easy to work on, plenty of storage under the seat. Reliable beyond expectation, I've put 35k miles on it over the last two years and only had issues with the side stand switch due to attempted theft.
