Portland has a better job outlook for both of us but housing is obviously more. Not sure we could afford to live where we would want to and I'm not sure I'm eager to buy a fixer upper in Northeast.
As for Eugene...only if we both got GREAT jobs there. Still have lots of friends in the area from our UO days. Eugene is actually a nice little town if you can get over all the stinkin hippies. Local city government is infested with them (think thats really what keeps Eugene from growing).
