Ok... Time to prepare this baby for a season and to give it a proper service.

I have decided to start with adjusting valves. First of all, all valves has almost no clearence. 0.05mm or less. But then I noticed something that I have difficulties to understand... How can someone close the engine with missing bolts inside?

Not good, where did they go? Check the oil pan... Those are very easily stripped out.

If I am right, they were not put there. I think those bolts are too long to pop out on a closed cover even if they were stripped.

      Snapped.

I hate broken bolts. Always pita to pull them out.

Damn... I have just realized that whole engine will have to go out. Two of the broken bolts are on the exhaust side.

Daaaaamn! Some people shouldn't be allowed to even hold a wrench. Sorry to see that man.

.... And they screwed up the valve lashing to boot.

Well, at least there is no point to adjust valves until that is fixed. 😉

What do you mean by "valve lashing to boot"?

What do you guys think its the best way to proceed? Engine removal I suppose?

Not completely, you can tilt it forward if that would work. I repaired a broken bolt on a kat that way, depends on where the bolt is, outside sure. center would be difficult that way.

                Just my luck. 😩

Now is a good time to clean it up and repaint it.

We were away on a trip over the weekend so I was unable to work on a bike. Today I finally removed oil pan and what a sight!

Does anyone knows what part of the engine are those pieces? Bike was in a working order (I know it sounds strange).

So no one can recognise those pieces?

it would be a huge help if someone knows what it is.

I dont recognize them. Try to take better pics better lighting against a white background, both sides of them.
