Wow - yeah, that's a steal for a bike in that good of condition.
In my area, a POS abused and ugly one will go for 2k

Thanks everyone! Now it's time to rack up some miles. I've put 250 or so on it, still lots of fun! She's definitely a big bike so control inputs need to be deliberate, but very stable and smooth so it is easy to knock out lots of miles. I do need to look at the clutch. Usually I adjust them to disengage at the very start of the pull, but to shift into N this one needs to be pulled all the way. Not sure if I can adjust that away with a hydraulic clutch and the service manual didn't have much info. I did bleed it. Any thoughts?

Finally had a nice day here so I took the big Kat to work. What a great bike! My driving record may take a beating though... it's just so easy and smooth to go entirely too fast.
