Side stand

Anyone know if 98+ side stands are shorter than the pre98?

or.... Maybe someone could measure there 98+ side stand for me?

I'm not sure about height, but the designs are different. Main thing is the return spring is on the other side!

I have about 8 of those newer ones.................just stacked up in a nice neat pile. I'd love to sell on..........CHEAP! How's $15 plus shipping sound?!

You can maybe play around with it and do a mod! If you get it to work, make sure you take photos of it and post it!

the 98+ side stands are shorter, I measured

it's about 1/2 to 3/4" shorter but like special K said they are different in other ways.
