    Good question.

The Katana name has been used on several models of bikes.

Because in the US it is labeled GSX###F Katana, so we just shorten it to Kat.

About 86 I had a 650 Kat (shaft drive) and about 14 yrs ago had 750 kat (pop up) and now about to get this.....it's not in very good condition body wise but mechanicaly seems ok. Needs downpipes or maybe a full system 2 mirrors and a front right indicator cover. I know aftermarket ones will probably fit but it's the bloody big hole I'd be left with

To be honest though I'm not to keen on them but hey ho
