    Fatal Accident
    May 31, 2006

Police have yet to identify the 24 year old victim of a fatal accident in St. John's last night. It happened shortly before 7:30 last night near the College of the North Atlantic on Prince Phillip Drive. Police say it appears the driver of a motorcycle lost control and struck a sign post. He was thrown from the bike and struck another vehicle. The victim died a short time later in hospital. Police are withholding his name pending notification of family.

No joke, Woody! That's terrible! We've got a pretty tight community because of the bike. Hope it's not anyone we know from up north.

It is sad to see things like this.

I don't think it is a KR member because there is none of the common mods done to the bike like mesh mod, clear lenses and there is no Braada cowl.

It took me a second to notice the bend up sign-post in the background (upper right, just in front of the fire truck) and the skid mark from it towards the bike. Ouch!

                    RIP.
