    GSXR Tail Conversion

    I'm gonna keep this as short as possible. I have an 04 Kat 600 & I was wondering if it was possible to change the tail to that of an 04 GSXR. IF that is even possible what work would it require besides the tail plastics and the tail frame of a GSXR? I just want to know how much work it would take and the parts needed to do the job.

    Depending on your level of fabrication skills you can make anything work.....

    My short list would include a sawzall (for removing stock subframe), grinder to clean up what I just cut, welder to weld tabs in place for bolting gix subframe to, fab up a new battery box mount, relocate/rewire whats necessary for tail/brake/turn signals, body shop materials for painting gix fairing, and probably a hotbodies undertail to finish it off nicely
