I really like the idea of track days except for the price. I guess about $150 is worth the instruction and saving you from a more expensive speeding ticket, and more dangerous conditions on the road, and higher insurance, points on the license, suspension....

It may take a couple of years, but I'm thinking very hard of getting a used SV 650, and a small trailer and trying to do one or two a month through the summer. Mid-Ohio is less than two hours away. It should be more fun than tooling around the local parks worried about deer, cops, traffic, pedestrians, etc...

Yeah but Sinfulkat doesn't do them on a Kat.....

True he has a track bike for that, but I know more than a few people who have done track days on their kat and had a blast! I told him I was gonna ride out to vegas and do a track day w/ him sometime or else fly out and ride one of his bikes.
