Any Use Iron Out For Tanks?

Ok as far as i know, SGT is the only one i heard use this and worked for him. question is has anyone ever done this or heard of this? iron out with distilled water let it sit for a day blah blah blah spray wd 40 to displace water, pour gas, wash rinse repeat?? I would rather spend 25 bucks to get my tank rust free than spend 50 buck on tank cleaning supplies.

If you're going to clean the tank, especially with a 15 year old tank, you should get the proper supplies and seal it as well. Por-15 for the win.

my exp...

had my bike 10 yrs. No problems except rust in tank. cleaned it but once the rust starts the only way to "kill" it is to seal otherwise it keeps rusting. I spent the money on the kit for $40. Saved me headaches.

Por-15 has a great kit that will last forever if you apply it correctly
