From what I have seen in the past, and with what happened to me today, it is safe to say that you will at leeast once leave the key on and kill your battery.
Well today was my turn to go there. I was sitting in the restaurant....and thought, "oh shit". I went out and looked....and sure enough....there was my key on in the switch, and a dead battery. (wasn't worried about someone stealing it....the bike was just outside the window).
So after the guys pushed me back and forth across the parking lot a few times, I realized this just wasn't going to work. So I thought, "hey....I will just yank the battery out of one of your bikes, and start mone with it....then give you yours back and stick mine back in."
It took all of 5 minutes. So if it ever happens to you and you have a buddy with you....do the same thing with his battery. It beats pushing the bike back and forth. It is such an easy solution that you just might not think of it. It took a bit for it to hit me.
