  • Pictures of the new girl

Figured the new girl was worth a new thread and someone requested pics so thought I'd share my happiness. The new Kat has been a blast to ride last couple of days, the rain has been on and off last few days which is a bore but I've already put a good 360 KM's on it since the pick up Friday.

I have to say, it's a riot breaking in a new bike and the Kat is surprisingly smooth even now. It makes some odd noises here and there but when I went to see the salesman at the dealership today he said it was normal and I was being a freak, he patted me on the bike and told me to go out and have fun, so I did . Paranoid first time owner I suppose...

Anyways, here's a few I took as soon as I got her home and a shot of the new lid, KBC VR2 Assassin, which has been stellar by the way if anyone has been wondering on whether to pick one up or not.

Went with Motorsports, I had been looking at a 2002 (I think) 750 that was at wheelsport and I got a real sleezy feel from the guy. So when I decided to go new I figured go with what feels right.

I did call both and motorsports in the end gave me a better deal on the bike itself but also gave me some in store credit to sweeten the deal and they were just plain out nice on the phone. When I called wheelsport I felt like I was bothering the guy and he didn't seem at all interested in even talking to me, so whatever.

Really happy about the decision, the guy at Motorsport knew this was my first new bike so he took his time at delivery, went through everything, was a great experience.

                        600 miles, or 1000 km.

I'm sure it was an unintentional typo.

                        Cheers,

Welcome to KR from another member in the Ottawa region.

                            Sweet bike!!!

I bought my bike off an individual, but had shopped all the dealers in the area. I too like Motorsport a lot more than Wheelsport.
