There are quite a few low cost Kats I've seen around here... and we are not that far apart. Not nessasarily a deal unless it's in really good condition though.

Both these 600s for example were $1300.

depending on its condition, definitely could be a great deal. I found my 2001 '600 for 1800 and got it in excellent condition. craigslist can definitely come through with a great deal every now and then just have to be careful!

Doesn't seem to be a mark on the bike. Mileage isn't listed though, so I will need to call and ask. Catch is the bike is not near me. I was goofing around and looking for funny things in other states. It is 591 miles from me and in Ohio. So if I contact him and I want the bike, I can't tel if anything is truly wrong until it gets here??? Not liking this idea the more I think about it. here are some pics of it.

I was looking at a VFR Interceptor in Florida (I'm in NY) and the bike looked clean and was a great price. I explained to the seller that I was interested but lived far away and needed more detailed pictures and closeups especially of certain areas and he complied. I then saw that the great deal would have needed a lot of fixing, but at least he was honest enough to send the extra pics. Specify sprockets, tires, fork seals and underside as well as more body closeups to get a better look. If you do go for it try to go pick it up. It will cost you almost as much as shipping but you will have the safety of seeing it and a test ride before you lay down money.

He's confident enough to park it on carpet so it's probably not leaking anything

Good indication as long as they are recent pics and not 5 years old

Not OEM fender, or something was re-painted.

Yeah, sort of looks like the left side was painted but hard to tell in the pics. I think the 2000 750 had a burg. upper with black belly pan, and burg. fender.

The flat black fender alone makes me have second thoughts, and it looks like a Hayabusa fender.

the fender is a pre 03 fender, just looks goofy because it has a shitty flat black paint job on it. the whole bike looks to be painted aside from the tank, to be quite honest. OE would have the lowers silver on a 750 iirc
