88 katana 600

So a friend of mine found a 88 katana in a junkyard so we bought it took it home and replaced the battery and plugs and it fired right up. BUt there are no body panels on it. I was wondering if any of the newer style flaring will fit this bike? It also needs a new gas tank. but Other then that I think we did ok for 100 bucks.

Congrats on the find! Look around on Ebay, you can find plenty of fairings to put on your bike relatively cheap. I'm not sure on putting newer style fairings (off what??) on your bike....you'd probably have to mod the mounts pretty heavily to put anything on there besides what it came stock with.

Any fairings from an 88 to a 97 gsx600 will fit stock on this bike. All other years will require mods.
