though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who

        Frame
Checked for cracks and braces welded in place
Footpeg hangers cut off and replaced with rearsets
Sent out for checking/alignment (he was previously in an accident with it)
        Powdercoated
        New bearings etc

        Running Gear
        Bandit 1250 forks/triples/bars
Bandit 1200 swingarm with mounts for dual shocks
        17" 5 spoke rims/tire (he's still deciding between Marchesinis or R1 rims)
Brembo goldline brakes/masters front and rear with custom adaptors

        Motor
One off 4 into 1 exhaust
        Carb Jetting w/dyno tune

        Bodywork
Modern filler cap welded into tank (like on my 1157) and repair a few dents
Stock fender split and widened to mount on bandit forks but look stock.
        Signal holes closed/smoothed
Repainted with custom graphics (he's leaning toward my Alpine Silver metalic color after seeing it in person, but we'll see...he also really likes the Yoshimura 1135 in black)

Lots of other misc items but that's the gist of it...

Until you sit on or ridden a vintage kat that has been upgraded with lighter components, dropped unnecessary weight, and switched to modern 17" rims, you don't understand just how different they feel. If you go back and forth between my 1157 and the stocker, the difference is really significant. I should really try and weigh both of them before I start on his!

I see in one of your posts that you're going to be building a one off exhaust for a Kat. Do they sell, bend, collector, flange kits like they do to make car headers? OR how do you go about it?
              Thanks
