  • What is needed?

The carbs while on prime and not running leak gas out of the back of the carb.. The floats we adjusted 2 times and on the last time we made it so the floats were closed and they still leaked.. Is that the needle valves? and o rings? Is that all that should be replaced? This is on a 2000 600 stock everything too.

It's either needles and seats, or the sealing o-rings around them...

I had that happen once on an older bike, it was easier for me to get all new needles and seats. I couldn't get them clean enough to not leak, but someone here may have some ideas for you...

What do you have the floats set at, and why is it left on prime?

Floats were set at 13mm off the lip of the bowl.. I just had it on prime to fill the bowls up after putting them back on the bike. And it will sit their and gas will just come right out of the back of the carb before even trying to start it

You adjusted them? Did you check them balanced at an angle so that the floats were just sitting on the needle but NOT compressing the spring loaded pin on the needle? This is the tricky part that is hard for most to get right.

Trying to read the bottom of an open can of soda is really the best way I've found to describe it. Sin said that too me once, so all credit goes to him.

This is a post kat. 13mm is the right float height.

I don't know about Krey, as he's not really in the business of rebuilding carbs. I am, so I'll buy them from you.
