Does anyone know of any good power/suspension upgrades? I do not want to engine swap just yet but I eventually will.

Without swapping engines there's no real performance to be gained. The 600 is a pretty weak platform.
Suspension wise there's a lot to be done, cartridge emulators new correct springs, rear shock swaps, new spring, gold valving...90% of motorcycle forum members do not have a service manual for their bike.

Welcome to KR! You really shouldn't upgade the intake. The Kat works best on the stock filter. You might squeeze a few HP out of a full exhaust and stage one jets, but it won't be a lot.sigpic Mulholland Hwy Ride
