    ***NEWEST PICS ON PAGE 5***

Whats up fellas. I thought it was about time to start contributing to the community and spice things up around here with my GSX600F fighter.
After lurking through numerous forums and googling hundreds of thousands of Streetfighter photos, i think i may have came up with (in my eyes) the perfect garage built Katana streetfighter.

This is my first bike/streetfighter. I've only used and have access to the basic tools. I've had the bike for 1 year. It sat for 4 months, then after being introduced to the whole Fighter look, I've literally worked on it everyday since Aug 4th 2011. My ideas, project builds, and photos should vouch for my obsession. I tried numerous looks/styles and nothing satisfied me until now. fiberglassing my tail section completed the look of my almost completed fighter. Theres a few more things i want to get done like find an easy low mod SSSA conversion, new mirror setup, new levers, rear sets, chain , sprockets and more.

Since our Katanas have the ugliest frames known to man, i figured im going to have to do a damn good job of hiding it behind some sort of slashed up fairing setup. so i did some photoshoping on my cell and came up with a pretty badass design. then i went through numerous headlight setups and finally came up with a Yamaha Raptor hood grill and a Mitsubishi 3000GT projector to complete my front end. I added a homemade LED halo and red Demon eye. For the paint scheme i went with a metallic black on the fairings and a matte black base on the tail. it looked a little plain so i created my very own look, i call it "Triple Black Carbon Camo", which looks insane in person.
The "Gatling gun" like turn signals under the headlight is made from the 2 feet of frame that was chopped off the back of the bike. theres a million more mods here and there that ive done, i can probably type all night, so enjoy the pics and ask any questions if you wanna know. I've photo documented all my projects, i literally have over 2,000 photos of progress. Enjoy!

    Six months ago............

Rhino lined. didnt wanna have to worry about scratches.......

bracket made from a street sign. easy to work with.

    End of phase 1.

    end of phase 2.....

headlight build. combination of projector fogs, other fogs and clear cups.

    My Night Rider.....

Yamaha Raptor hood grill and 3000GT fog lights. (OLD SETUP)

    more random stages.

Is that a cherry bomb muffler? Normally I don't like street fighter bikes because they look half as*ed and chopped all to hell, but this one I have to say:

One thing I definitely dont like is the height of that tail..Looks like its sticking in the air way to high..

Also how many ****ing headlight setups have you gone through? haha

Thanks guys, your comments are much appreciated. Lol, no cherry bomb exhaust. I went from modified stock> 4"tip one exit capped>gixxer exhaust> open duals with homemade baffles. the open duals gives me perfect back pressure an awesome sound.

I've spent many hours staring at the bike which led to many, many changes. I knew I wouldn't be happy until it looked insane and unique.

I've always liked that European high looking tail, sometimes its a pain when i kick it.

holy moly i went through a lot of headlight setups.

this is bike VVVVVV and Evil Relikt were a couple of my top motivators.

I can't really say because I didn't see half the pictures. how can someone who can modify a bike like that not know how to resize a photo? lol

what I did see looks pretty good though, aside from that tail section. not a fan of that. I do believe you should put on a hugger to cover that rear wheel up. it might help to keep the cops off your arse. around here that is all they would need to pull you over. plus I just think it would look better. but that's just me.

Wow, that was incredibly thorough - looks like you've been at it a while.

I have a lot of raw materials in terms of LEDs and lighting at work, and I've been experimenting with putting together some kind of halfway decent projector setup for my pre-kat -- by the way, you still got your original headlight? I need a new lens cos this rubbermaid container I cut up, while easy to work with, isn't exactly ideal.

Let me ask you this though - was your Kat able to run dual HID ballasts, as I'm only running the one right now.

Also, thanks for the ideas on repackaging the projector assemblies and different fog light/running light designs.

At one point the bike looked like it was like, a little man or something when you had the facemask on there - ultimately you ended up with a pretty wicked creation. I also like how you did retain a good bit of the fairing.

What belly fairing bit are you using? At the back it looks like it's still like a Kat fairing but the front section looks radically different.

While not my personal style cos I like my fairings, I like it a lot. Looks like it'd be a riot to ride.

1.) Holy hell that bike is fracking awesome!!!!!!!!!!

2.) where did you get the headlight/tail? Did you make them yourself or buy them from somewhere?

3.) How much did all of this cost? (if you dont mind me asking)

                            sick man, very cool stuff
