Default Modding the stock exhaust!!!

I've been thinking about modding the stock exhaust on my 97 kat 750 for a while, I like the looks of my stock exhaust but it's no where near loud enough for my likings. What are yalls thoughts on modding it and how would I go about doing it? Thanks in advance

I'd purchase an aftermarket header. They're plentiful and they offer weight savings, look better and improve performance when combined with proper jetting.

I punched .4" holes, one in each center tube to give it some
sound but not be over the top. Love it, and no other changes
were made to the carbs nor intake.

PS did the '97's have those barrel shaped crossover pipes on
the factory headers? When was that discontinued? My '89 has them.

i did that to my first ninja 250 and it was LOUD, then the ninja 250 in my sig had a full muzzy with a hole on the inside of the can from the previous owner laying her down, it was so loud i had to kill it a couple of blocks away from home and coast it in lol. i even got pulled over on that ninja and the cop rode and asked me what size it was (because i had a custom paint job on her) and he thought she was a 600 minimum.

It's been almost three months. Have you modified your stock exhaust yet?
