Posting this for Sambo1987 oh well... I learned that there's 3 bolts on the back of the gauge cluster instead of just the 2 that the manual shows.. hope nobody else makes the mistake and pulls too hard and breaks the back piece

Two basic reasons:
1. The '05 version will contain everything the '98 version contains, plus an addendum for each year since '98. The addendums are about a dozen pages for each year. Thus, more pages... For the '05, the big difference is the change in the wiring diagram (in the addendum).
and
2. The cost of paper/printing/shipping has gone up between '01 and '05 -- the price reflects price at time of manufacture (printing).

Yeah, but its a pretty big, so if you try to open it in a browser it'll probably take a while.

Maybe add in a note with it telling people to right click on the pdf and click "Save Target As" or "Save Link As".
