Can instrument cluster of a 750f katana fit a 600f katana?

Can I install a instrument cluster of a 750 f katana 1995 model on a 1993 600f katana? By looking at pictures I think they can be interchangeable, except I think that some wiring work has to be done that I think is no big deal, I like the cluster from the 750 better than the 600 on my katana, anyone has done this? Thanks!

yes, it should be fine as long as you take care of the wiring issues. I don't know if it's been done, but it should work fine.

I think that the housing, gauges are different. I'm not sure about the connectors.

the 600, the guages are all the same size, the 750 has a small fuel gauge.

Yes, there is some wiring issues that you will need to sit down and think through before you go cutting up wires. I made some jumpers to connect some of the wires. I switched the plugs from the 600 guage pods to the 750 guages and then made jumpers for the left overs. I only went through all that so I could return it to stock if I decide to later.

Besides the wiring, it is a direct swap over. And it looks MUCH better in my opinion.

Let me know if you want to see any pics. It really doesn't look any different than it being on a 750 though. I dont have any of the wiring, but I could take some if you need them.

Yeah, been working my arse off lately. Going in at 6:00am and not leaving work until around 8-9:00pm. Sometimes being salary sucks. But the benefits I should reap from doing the job I am currently doing will definately pay off in the long run.
