Must be water from the cold and rainy weather...or water in the gas .... Clean it up and change gas if suspect ,...and keep your tank full.. Keep some grease in the lock too

thanks for all the help guys! obviously im a noob...problem was easily remedied with some mothers mag/alum polish, a dremel polishing attachment and some metal protector!
