I noticed that when I put my hand under the helmet while riding it does reduce some wind noise. My helmet is HJC CS-12, a lot of wind noise but rather from below the helmet than from the visor. I'm using ear plugs now, but also ordered NOJ Quiet Rider, mainly because of Michigan weather (warm-cold-warm-cold-blizzard.................CRAZY!) but hopefully it will reduce some noise to.
