Just did my conversion, and OMG!!!! It put the gearing right where it needed to be. The 14/47 combo is awesome. I'm sure the 520 makes a good difference, but if I keep the bike after this season, I'm thinking about going back to 530 with same combo for longevity based on the input on other members.

Yeah, it's been raining here, but I will have more pics really soon, I will be shooting them as soon as possible. It looks great, and man, what a great time to clean it all up when the rim is off the bike, and the sprocket is off.Dude, if I could swim, I'd be a Pirate.Comment

So far the chain is excellent. I got this really heavy duty 520 on it. Well, I'm told that it is anyways. But man it's so nice to have the snappiness in it. Burns a bit more gas now, but that's the price you pay for power no matter what.Dude, if I could swim, I'd be a Pirate.Comment
