  • tint?

    i was wanting to smoke my real taillight and my headlight, what do you guys think? ive seen other older bikes with it done and it doesnt seem to hurt visual on the lights. http://www.rvinyl.com/motorcycletintfilm.htm let me know what youre opinions and thoughts on it are.

        I bought a smoked front lens cover from "Skidmarx" and tinted the rear brake lense with some Humbrol "smoked" spray paint.

          just go to the local auto parts place and pick up this:

          Stand the heat with our very high temperature automotive paint for exterior and interior application.

            It kills the headlight for sure...
            Night shades or dupli-color metalcast smoke will work.

              so how dark dte night shades go? i was thinking just going with tint so i could take it off easy if i need to...

                depends on how much you put on...
                My singnals are BLACKED out with 4 light coats.

                  dude the tint i used on my headlights worked perfect... didnt diminish visibility at all, but gave it a nice blue tint... and just looks bad *** when the bike is just sitting there

                      i just used some headlight film that i found on ebay... its only like 4 bucks.. but it can be a pain to put on

                        The lens film looks cool, but the lens "SHIELD" is better as you can remove it when you want in less than a second and put it back when you like, the film is pain in the rear, I use the lens shield which is made of a hard plastic tinted resin that is held in place with the appropriate number of Velcro sickies as needed. Trust me this is the only way to role especially if the fuzz is on your case all the time.

                            ok i went to skidmarx and got my headlight cover and a carbon yoke protector, thanks tok for the site!!

                            btw ice g my screen has been tinted
