98+ Collector dent for retrofit. How much?

Hi all,

Did a search but didn't find any hard info on exactly how much I need to dent the 98+ collector to retrofit it onto my '94 Kat while keeping it's original oil pan. If it helps, I have a 2001 header and Factory pipe that I'll be bolting onto my '94.

If one of you all that has done this mod could shed more light on exactly how much and where you dented the collector it would be much appreciated. A couple of pics would be awesome!

As far as I know, it's not the collector, but the lower bend of the down-tubes that needs to be bent to create the clearance and correct alignment with your existing mid-pipe.

Well,

The header is in my basement awaiting it's modification and I got word that the 98+ pipe was shipped priority on Wednesday. So, it's time to get to work on the header.

Anyone have any pics of their header mod? Or at least a detailed account of where to do the modification? How much? etc.
