  • First twisty run! Amazing!

So I was bored tonight and decided that since it wasn't freezing outside and it's dry, I would take the Kat up some nice twisty roads. I've had the Kat for about 4 months now, and I didn't get the time or wherwithal to take it out corner carving until now.

And man was it a BLAST!! Even though I kept it dialed back because it was getting dark outside I still had the time of my life! Too bad there won't be many more days to go do that again

Parked like the soul of the junkyard
    Restored, a bicycle fleshed
    With power, and tore off
    Up Highway 106 continually
Drunk on the wind in my mouth
    Wringing the handlebar for speed
    Wild to be wreckage forever."

Mine too. Last ride was first week on November. There was frost on the shady corners.

I love living TX...not packing my bike up for the winter
Too bad there's not that many twisties to work with, everything's too flat out here.

I have been riding along time and just avoided big twisty roads because I had it in my head that I didn't like them. Oh my god was I missing out. Some friends of mine convinced me to go out to the canyons with them and just try it. Now during riding season (yes mine is also asleep for winter) we go at least once a week. I can't believe how much I was making myself miss.

All I have to say is have fun but be careful.

Welcom to KR. We should get together for a ride sometime next spring once it warms up a bit. I'm over near Klamath Falls. Sassyduck and her husband are over there near you in Eugene.
