    does anybody know if suzuki makes a swing arm for a 05 kat 600
    that you can put a wheel for a 180 or 190 tire

    im running a 160/60... its perfect. there is no need for a 190, besides looks.

      Suzuki does not make a standard bolt-in replacement for that swing arm designed for other sizes. You can bolt in (with some modifications) swing arms from certain other bikes.

      As Jason pointed out, there is no advantage other than bling to going to a larger rear wheel -- since the size the rear wheel has to be not to slip under full throttle coming out of turns is dictated by the power the bike can make, and the Kat can't make enough power to overcome the stock size. Aside from that power consideration, narrower tires are actually better for handling, turning, maneuverability, acceleration (less mass to spin-up), braking (less mass to sping down).
