Anyone know what this switch could be for?

Hey guys,

Wasn't sure where to put this, but I have this switch right above my gauges. I don't think it was stock. It has an indicator light on it, but it does't light up at all. I've checked lights and such to see if it effects them at all. I haven't had the body work off to try and trace where the wires lead too.
Since this is my first streetbike, I just wanted to hear what you guys think the switch could go to.

Could be a switch for LEDs. Or maybe it turns on the Flux Capacitor.

It's not stock. It's just a cheap toggle switch the previous owner installed. You'll need to trace the wiring to see where it goes. I've seen a lot of bikes that toggle the tail light to run from the police.
