there was also a special edition model in 87, 90 and 94.

Nice looking Kat in your garage! I'm doing something similar to my 83 GS550e, but I'm only upgrading suspension, wheels and brakes to Katana stuff. I don't have the equipment to fab much.

Thanks...the tentative plan is to turn my second 82 into another modified one like the bike in my garage (unless someone wants to buy it out from under me)
