  • New Screen and Can

Finally got my Zero Gravity Sport Tour windscreen and D&D slip-on installed and ready to go. The screen really does cut down on the wind, which helps this time of year. And as many of you know.....the D&D is loud.

The screen was part of 'the deal' when I bought my Katana this summer.
You can get this same windscreen at http://www.1tail.com.

im slightly confused. the comfort added by the taller screen is cancelled out by the annoying buzz from the D&D

Trust me, that loud pipe keeps the furry critters around here from ignoring me and thats MORE comfort than you can put a price on!!!!

Looks good man! D&D is too loud for me but if you like it then that is all that counts!! How much taller is that screen? Looks like it would help out alot on highway rides.

I was thinking about getting a taller windscreen too... seems the stock screen directs the wind directly into my face at highway speeds. It makes for tiring long rides.

The D&D is a black satin finish. Looks sweet!!!!

The screen is about 4 inches taller than stock and at 80mph the wind hits me right at the very top of my helmet. I'm 6'0" and the old screen directed wind just above my face shield at highway speeds. With the new screen it is much 'quieter', but I didn't realize the noise my helmet made.

I figure i'll run this screen during the cold months and switch back to stock during the summer.

... as an update, did you switch back to stock for the summer? Also did you notice a big difference between the two wind screens?

Hmm, it's telling me the file is not found when I click on the link.

Is the new windscreen better optically than stock? The one on my can is very difficult to see through since it has so many waves in the plastic.

Running the different screen by season has worked out well so far. the D&D is still runnin load and proud.
