  • Newbie has a mean kitty

Hello everyone, I've managed to pick up a nice resto Kat, looking for a stock one , but prices on these originals was pretty high, so this was next best thing . Retains the original styling and has lotts of attitude.
I'll be tweaking it for the next few weeks to get it sorted. The front forks are slammed.., rear sets need to be redone...way too uncomfortable, will be looking for some other parts as well (aftremarket rear shocks, custom rear sets).
Nice to find a forum to get some feedback and share experiences.
    Got some images to share.

                    Looks pretty nice, good bodywork!
Those later year rims are probably a good thing, you can get nicer rubber for them.

Thanks for the compliments..Riding this bike is painful, the guy who sold it to me could not ride it due to the cramped styling... I will raise the front end and change out the foot controls, handles like a pig...great for straight line not much for turning..
