What Kind of Oil to put in my Bike????

Heys guys, I have a rather simple question but I would like all of your input since you all know alot more about bikes and have been around them longer than I have. I recently purchased a 2003 Ninja 250 for my first starter bike. Anyway I was looking at where to check for the oil and I realized that it's pretty low. I was wondering what brand or type of oil would you guys recommend. Does it really make a difference if I would buy really expensive or just the medium priced stuff. I really appreciate all your help and suggestions, you guys are always very helpful. Thanks

Water cooled bike?
Just about any motorcycle oil... suggest you check your owner's manual for the ratings required for it -- it will probably say API SF/SG rated oil, possibly say JASO-MA rated oil. It should also give you appropriate oil weights for your ambient weather.
