Default 1997 katana 600 exhaust question

Hey guys. I am in need of a new exhaust system on my 97 600. Mine is rotted out and I was wondering if its best to stick with the dual pipes or go with a 4 into 1 pipe. I'm going to have it custom made, theirs a shop here in Portland that does really good work. ( unless you guys know of something aftermarket that will work better) I like the dual pipes, my Falco has duels and I just like the look. I was just wondering what you guy think. I'm new to this bike so I'm still learning. Thanks in advance.

4 into 1 is going to save you some weight, but that's about it. Other than that, it's going to be a looks thing. If you like the dual look, you should rock it
