fuel petcock diaphram

is the diaphram suspose to have an o-ring on the nipple of it i took mine apart and there was no oring on it and the petcock always ran gas out of it in every position

If your petcock isn't working right, replace it.

Yeah , there's an o-ring in there somewhere . There'll be a groove where it sits .

Do a search on petcock and read some old post from last month I think 4 or 5 people have petcocks and rebuild kits for sale.
