  • 82 Katana Question

I hate asking this question but what are the 2 switches for on the left side panel under the choke knob?

Pics may help, not to many own one. Is it on the left hand control? Yes, horn lights and signals.

Those are auxillary switches. You can wire 12 volt devices to the back of those and use them to turn the device on/off. I've never figured out what you would have used those for, back in 1982.... today, a power outlet can be wired there and turned on and off.

So they were just there "in case" you wanted to hook up something?
        Very interesting. Cool thank you

No problem. Here is the page from the service manual.

The GS1100 service manual with the GS1000SZ supplement.

Is that the actual Suzuki issued one or the Haines service manual?
