Headlights and dash bulbs

The left half of my speedometer light is out and I was wondering how to replace it. Also, how do you install new headlights? Can you just do it from behind the dash or does some of the plastic need to come off?

Plastics come off and you will see 3 screws holding the guage cluster in. Take screws out and unplug harness and should slide out toward the back of the bike. Then take the back off and the bulbs will be in the blue and black twist sockets in the board.
As far as the headlights go, i have not taken that venture yet. But im sure it woud be easy to see once the plastics are off.

Headlight bulbs can be changed without removing plastics on the post (not sure of the pre's). Cluster bulbs require some plastics off.

pre can be done without removing the plastics, ive just done it on my 97 Kat, ( in the UK its a GSX600F)
