I'm still new to riding, and have a pair of Joe Rocket gloves. They have the carbon fiber (or what looks like carbon fiber anyway) over the knuckles.
I've started noticing lately that the fingers on my left hand are sore, specifically my index and pinky. The soreness comes when i squeeze my finger all the way in, making a fist or anything else with that general movement. I can't really tell if it's the joints in my fingers that are sore, or something else.
My gloves are fairly tight, when I first got them new, they seemed almost uncomfortable and would leave impression lines on my hands after riding from where the stitches are.
My right hand does not hurt at all.
So, what i'm trying to figure out is, are my gloves the problem? Or is it the increased clutch activity in my left hand that's leaving my fingers sore? When I clutch, I use all four fingers.
Thanks all!
