I got this 93 katana 600 for around $600. It looks pretty clean and garage kept with 24k. It has been layed down and cracked up a few fairings. That may seem a little expensive to some of you but I would have payed even more in parts for a nice set of carbs, tank, forks, seats, mirrors, dual exhaust, ect (all stuff I needed) plus shipping not to mention a good engine. But this is going to make a great bike itself. Around here these bikes sell for 2500 primmered, rattle canned, and all bubba'd out or 800 with a bad motor. This one is good to go with a battery and a few fenders.

Not bad at all. If bikes are selling for that much down there you might want to clean her up a bit and resell. (Or even use parts from your other bike to clean this one up and sell off that one.)

I know. Its ridiculous. I was going to use this one to fix up my other one and have a spare engine but it looks so good I'm going to restore it to original besides a cool paint job since it has the factory undertail mud flap, big turn signals, reflectors, chaingaurd and everything and turn my other one into a street fighter .
I messed up and didn't get my last bid in on time and let this clean, mostly original kat go for 1,200 in Michigan.

I got her all finished up and she runs great. Last year I rebuilt the carbs, changed the oil, oil filter, air filter, plugs, and a new battery. I was afraid to isntall the gas tank because the fuel lines were kinked but I just got some new fuel lines, choke cable, installed the tank, and some side fairings off of my other bike seen here. http://katriders.com/vb/showthread.php?t=119912
She fired right up and runs perfectly without a miss and evened idled great without synchronizing the carbs yet. I made sure they were synced by eye and didn't disconnect the carbs from each other so they still had the factory sync besides new jets and o-rings. All of the gauges, lights, and everything works. The only thing I need to make it all original is the front turn signals.
