First ride of the year!!

Finally took the Kat out for a short blast on Monday. Temp. in the 50s, and it felt fantastic to be riding again. Looking forward to a lot of miles this season. Amazing how great the sensation of riding is after a few months o ff.

Yes it is a great feeling. The first ride of the season is always the best. However when you live in a place when you can ride year round makes it that much more enjoyable I have been riding all winter except for the days of salt on the roads and my bike being down for the fork rebuild. I have been riding my wifes 250 and my dads 883 sportster.

I have almost forgotten what that's like. I moned to AZ 3 years ago and we can ride all year except for a few weeks in the summer when only the die-hard riders come out to brave the high heat.
