  • I need fork damper rod measurement

Anyone have a Kat 1100 fork disassembled ? I'm trying to lower my bike by installing spacers between the damper rod piston head and the rebound oil passage. I need to get a idea of how low I can go with out having to drill a new oil hole.
Second thought, I'll also need to know the length of the Damper Rod from the piston bottom to the ends tip. If you could include the length of the oil lock piece that would be awesome. This way I know how much travel is available. I've attached pictures of my Kat600 forks with 3/4" spacers to give you all a idea of what I'm doing.

    Thanks for any help !

That is a common mod if you used a R6 shock, contact TMOD. He used to make the shims.
