I've only had one experience with a bike with a shaft drive. It was a friend's and I'm pretty sure it was a Yami 650....not sure of the year or make. On a few curves when I down****ed the rear wheel seemed to hop. It kinda took me by surprise and I'm not sure if I would have liked that feeling on a rainy day. Just my thoughts.
sigpicLife throws you curves......enjoy the ones you get when riding. ------------------------------------------

It is NOT a common bike & WILL be a collectible. It is a GS 650 shaft drive motor so it is a common motor & parts are pretty easy to get. It would be a nice, durable, low maintenance bike that you will be able to enjoy for a long time to come & you won't see another one every time you go out with it. The bodywork is rare so if you ever get a chance to buy a parts bike or extra bodywork I would JUMP on it! Ray.
