Motor swap question - all the "post 600s" the same?

I have a 98 600 and am looking at a newer motor - 2006 at the moment, but could vary from any 98-06 year by the time I actually pull the trigger. I'm curious to know if it will bolt right in? My carbs, trans, wiring, etc will all work? Will I need anything else? Thanks a ton!!!
