  • Couple of ride pics, and one that was requested.

    Okay, a long while back I remember someone asked for a picture of the following sign outside of a church. I finally got back up that way (209 south of Hotsprings NC).





    Also last weekend I ran across this gem of a stop along 64 headed towards Franklin NC.

                              ... The road was built right next to the water fall, and a culvert was put in at it's base to allow for the water to pass under the road. The basic effect, is that it goes into a hole and just disappears... out to the other side which the pics don't show was a rather steep hill side down into the forest.

                              I believe the paved area under the waterfall is the "original" road before the state made 64 more accessible with improvements.
