  • Cincinnati newb getting ready to pull the trigger

I'm Will from Cincy, and currently have a GS500F I think I'm going to sell. I've only benn riding for about 8 months but I fell like it's lacking a few things (2 more cylinders mostly)! I've gotten pretty good with it and put an ad on craigslist to trade for sh&ts and giggles. People have been begging me to sell it for a huge prfit. Any ways I ran into this:

What do you guys think? Is it too much for me too early. It sounded great with that d&d exhaust also. I rode it down the street but had to walk the U turn to come back because the weight made me a little hesitant.

Should I go for it and what should I look out for in these bikes?

I'd negotiate a little on price, but its a good bike and you'll get used to the weight.

I poured spot remover on my dog. Now he's gone.

what should it be going for with the D&D exahust,3800 miles in excellent condition? the flaw i saw was a little tear in the seat cushion on the side? Nada said 3900.

I'd offer $3500 and see if I could get it lower. JMHO, but then, I'm a cheap bastige. Summer is a seller's market, so good luck.

Is there anything I should look out for on this particular bike? 3000 miles seems pretty low for 2003.

Welcome to KR! If the tires are O.E., you will be looking at replacing them towards the end of the season - regardless of miles or how they look. New rubber will set you back around $300.00, so I would stay in the $3,200.00 to 3,500.00 range. Kat engines are pretty bulletproof, so with those low miles, you should have a great ride for the season!
