I'm wondering what best way to prep fairings is gonna be? Is it easier/better to sand with da sander or hand sand? Any tips would be great plastics aren't cracked just pretty scratched up and wantin to do it myself and kinda make it my own... Thanks for any help

Got a tweaked piece of plastic? Some roughed up paint? Here's the place to get some tips on repairing your Suzuki Katana.

That's what the search function is for dude...

Scuff with 320 or 400 hand sand if there isnt bad damage then prime and wet sand that with 600 grit.

Depends on how bad the scrape is, if you can feel it sand it out, make sure you feather it out so it's even.

btw RF9romer, I wasn't trying to be a douche, so please don't take it that way.

...the link I posted by SweetLou is probably the best painting how-to on KR. But there are a good deal more sources as well, if you do a search or just go to the bodywork section of the forum.
