  • Metzeler Z6 tread direction

Well, i just got my z6 tire mounted and was wondering if the tread direction looks backward, the arrow is going the right way but it looks funny, or is it ok. what is the reason for the reversed direction.

    thanks

The tread pattern on the front should be opposite direction of the rear

As long as the ARROW is going in the right direction, your fine.
It doesn't matter what you ride, as long as you ride.

The arrow is going the right way but i thought is was a defect or something.

The yellow trim looks niiiice. I wont say anything about the windshield, though.

However, that bike's waaaay too clean. Go put some bugs on it.

Well , considering if it WAS some kind of defect , it'd likely be in the mold itself , so it'd effect a ****LOAD of tires .....

For Metzler Z6's on a Kat:
                          Front - 120/70ZR17
                          Rear - 150/70ZR17

Much more grip in wet and dry, over the inept Dunlops that came on it. They heat up real quick and are sure footed in twisties.
