  • The ultimate sport touring weekend. (Sorry no pics)

I had one of the best weekend trips I ever had last weekend. I set up the Kat with soft saddlebags, and strapped on my map pocket on the tank and headed from Long Island up North to my Bro's place in West Dover Vermont. Took scenic routs for 90% of the trip up which was about 215 miles. Woke up on Sunday and took Scenic Route 100 North about 100 miles or so and headed back to my Bro's place. Left on Monday to head back home, again taking scenic routes for 90% of the way. It was 3 consecutive 220 mile days. About 100 of those miles on Sunday was in rain which did'nt bother me or the Kat. With a Corbin seat, a wooden beaded pad on the seat, some soft luggage, and a map pocket, the Kat really proved to be a great sport-tourer. No stiff back, neck, or wrists. Also appreciated the decent range on a full tank of gas when there may not be a gas station for 40 or 50 miles. All in all a great trip on a great bike!!
